I just wrapped up a week of dog sitting for an Aunt and Uncle and am still a little sad it’s over. Over the next few days I’ll share some pictures of these cute furry things…
Doggy Watch - Day 1
I know I’m a bit biased, but I’m always amazed at how short of a time it takes for the personalities of dogs to come out. Rosie (left) and Ruby (right) are very different but they play well together. More importantly, they gang up on me very well together.
I was trying to watch the National news on Monday but these two girls weren’t having any of it. If they weren’t blocking my view of the television, they were on either side of me…judging. Ruby put one of her paws on my leg and looked at me with what I could best describe as disappointment. You all remember when you were a kid and a parent put their hand on your shoulder and solemnly said “I’m disappointed in you”. That’s what was being communicated here. That was the last time I watched television this week.
I’ll have pictures in future posts of these two playing and play/fighting but I love how picture three represents how these play sessions would end. They would end up very close and kissing/nuzzling each other.
Every night had Rosie end up in this position on this specific chair. They both liked to go outside quite a bit during the day, but whenever I saw this I knew their day was done.
